Colbond's new range, Colback Pro
Colbond launched a new range of innovative filter support layers that help filter medium producers increase production speed while cutting costs. Made from bi-component filaments consisting of a polyester core with a polypropylene skin Colback Pro not only reduces energy consumption in manufacture, but also improves the binding with other filter media. Other key properties that characterize the new product range include a high acid resistance and outstanding weldability.
In addition to these new features, Colback Pro supplies the same benefits that all Colback support layers do. Specifically designed to suit the demands of the filtration industry, Colback support layers enhance the effectiveness and durability of both air and liquid filter media and activated carbon layers. Leading filter medium producers have relied on Colback for many years for its high stiffness at low weight and low thickness, outstanding dimensional and thermal stability and open structure. The support layer is easy to process and assures excellent pleating and high air permeability of the finished product.
